Shona McIntyre

Shona Mcintyre is an accomplished academic and veterinary professional, currently serving as an Associate Professor and Head of the Department of Veterinary Clinical Sciences at the University of Surrey since 2017. Additionally, Shona chairs the Staff Student Liaison Committee and holds a position as a University Lecturer, specializing as a Teaching Fellow in Small Animal Medicine. Shona is an active member of the VetEd organizing committee since 2019 and serves as PDP Dean for the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons since March 2016. Prior to these roles, Shona practiced as a Veterinary Surgeon at Provost Vet Group from 2013 to 2017. Educational credentials include a postgraduate certificate in Diagnostic Imaging from the University of Surrey, a GP certificate in Diagnostic Imaging from Improve International, and further studies at The University of Edinburgh and the University of Glasgow.
