David C. Hodgson

David C. Hodgson is Vice Chairman and a Managing Director of General Atlantic, a global growth private equity firm. He joined General Atlantic in 1982, helped found their partnership and has over 35 years of experience identifying and assisting portfolio companies worldwide. Mr. Hodgson has been a member of the Alignment Healthcare, Inc. Board of Directors since 2014 and the TriNet Group, Inc. Board of Directors since 2005. He is former chair and current member of the board of trustees of Johns Hopkins Medicine. Mr. Hodgson serves on the Board of Directors of Johns Hopkins HealthCare and Johns Hopkins Medicine International. Mr. Hodgson holds an AB in mathematics and social sciences from Dartmouth College and an MBA from the Stanford University Graduate School of Business.
