Nicole Bennett

Nicole Bennett, MSW, LCSW, currently serves as a School Board Member for RPS 205 since April 2023. Previously, Nicole held the position of Community Impact Coordinator with the Region 1 Planning Council from September 2022 to October 2024, facilitating social and economic health initiatives. As Director of Education Initiatives at United Way of Rock River Valley from August 2019 to September 2022, Nicole led a team focused on supporting middle school students through data analysis and advocacy programs. Earlier roles include Achievement Advocate and Medical Social Worker, providing crucial support in educational and healthcare settings. Nicole's career also includes experience as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, providing counseling to children, and as a Foster Care Supervisor. Educational qualifications include a Master of Social Work from Loyola University Chicago, a Bachelor of Science in Sociology from Illinois State University, and an Associate of Arts and Sciences from Rock Valley College.
