Marc Lorin Fassbender

Marc Lorin Fassbender is a Consultant Geoscientist at RSC since January 2023, with a strong academic background and extensive experience in geosciences. Marc completed a PhD in Economic Geology at the University of Ottawa from August 2018 to June 2023, focusing on ancient and modern volcanogenic massive sulphide deposits using geochemistry and machine learning. Additionally, Marc served as a Teaching Assistant for various courses related to geochemistry and earth systems, as well as held research and geological positions in several organizations, including GEOMAR Helmholtz-Zentrum and Hensel Ingenieur GmbH. Marc's earlier education includes a Master’s and a Bachelor’s degree in Petrology, Georesources, and Sedimentology from Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg.
