Eric Shapiro

Eric Shapiro is an accomplished insurance professional with extensive experience in management and professional liability. Currently serving as Executive Vice President at RT Specialty since July 2023, Eric specializes in areas such as management liability, professional liability, and cyber insurance. Previously, Eric held the position of Regional President, South at Socius Insurance Services, Inc. from February 2005 to March 2024, focusing on wholesale insurance broker services for various management and professional liability products. Eric began the career as Assistant Vice President at CNA Insurance, managing specialty lines as a management liability underwriter from August 1995 to February 2005. Eric earned an MBA in Business Administration and Management from NYU Stern School of Business between 1998 and 2000, following an undergraduate education at the University of South Florida.
