Damian Cortinas

Damian Cortinas is the Chair of the Board at ENTSO-E since June 2021, overseeing the executive governing body of the association and managing the 'Vision for a Carbon Neutral Europe' project. With an extensive career at RTE Réseau de Transport d'Electricité since 2001, Damian has held multiple key roles, including Director for ENTSO-E Affairs and European System Coordination Director, where Damian organizes RTE's European activities. Previous positions include Regional Director for Power System Operation and Transmission and Grid Management, responsible for significant power networks in France. Earlier experience includes a project manager role at EDF and leadership in international R&D activities. Damian holds advanced degrees in Power Engineering and General Management from prestigious institutions, including CentraleSupélec and INSEAD.
