Almir Makan

Almir Makan is a dedicated fleet manager with extensive experience in transportation management. Currently employed at Ruan Transportation Management Systems since September 2022, Almir directly supervises a fleet of truck drivers, ensuring compliance with DOT regulations, efficient freight movement, and effective team management through recruiting, training, and performance assessment. Previously, from March 2007 to September 2022, Almir served as a fleet manager at ES Transport LLC, where responsibilities included maintaining relationships with drivers and customers, optimizing asset utilization, and resolving service issues. Almir holds a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Computer Networking with high honors from Davenport University and has a foundational education from Grand Rapids Community College.
