R. Scott Herren

R. Scott Herren serves as the Chief Financial Officer at Cisco since December 2020 and also holds the position of Audit Committee Chair at Rubrik, Inc. since November 2021. Prior to these roles, R. Scott Herren was the CFO at Autodesk from November 2014 to December 2020 and served as Audit Committee Chair at Proofpoint from July 2016 to November 2020. Additional experience includes a tenure at Citrix Systems from March 2000 to October 2014 with various leadership roles, including Senior Vice President of Finance and Managing Director and VP for Europe, Middle East and Africa. R. Scott Herren began the career at IBM Corp from 1984 to 1997 as Director of Finance and Operations, and later held the role of Vice President of Finance at Federal Express from 1997 to 2000. Academic qualifications include an MBA in Finance from Columbia Business School and a BS in Industrial and Systems Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology.
