Amol Kaneri

Amol Kaneri is a Senior Fermentation Engineer at S-Biomedic NV since October 2022, focusing on the development and execution of advanced Probiotic Manufacturing Processes and coordinating technology transfers to Contract Manufacturing Organizations. Prior to this role, Amol served as Assistant Manager Research Development at Zydus Group, where responsibilities included planning technology transfers and executing fermentation batches for a novel COVID-19 DNA vaccine. At Unichem Laboratories Limited, Amol was a Senior Associate engaged in designing fermentation processes for recombinant enzymes and contributing to the production of various biopharmaceuticals. Earlier experience includes roles at Shantha Biotechnics Limited and Navya Biologicals Pvt Ltd., where process development and optimization for vaccines and fermentation operations were key responsibilities. Amol holds a Master of Engineering in Biotechnology from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University and a Bachelor of Engineering in Biotechnology from KLE Technological University - Hubballi.
