Jarkko Pasonen

Jarkko Pasonen is an experienced financial professional with a career spanning over two decades in risk management and banking. Currently serving as the Credit Risk Manager at S-Pankki since April 2023, Jarkko previously held the position of Senior Risk Analyst at POP Pankki -ryhmä from May 2020 to April 2023. Earlier roles at S-Pankki included Risk Manager, Business Development Manager, and various leadership positions in payments and operations from March 2008 to May 2020. Jarkko's career began at Luottokunta, where roles included Project Manager and Deputy Credit Manager from August 2000 to March 2008, as well as a brief tenure as Liaison Officer with the Finnish Defence Forces. Jarkko started as a Credit Investigator at Luottokunta from September 1998 to August 2000. Jarkko holds a B.Sc. in Business Administration from the College of Charleston, completed in 1994.
