Dan Gargano

Dan Gargano has extensive experience in educational leadership, currently serving as the Associate Head of Schools and Head of Middle School at Sacred Heart Schools since June 2016. Previously, Gargano was the School Principal at St. Thecla School from June 2012 to June 2016, where responsibilities included advocating for a positive school environment, recruiting effective teachers, administering a research-driven curriculum, setting school goals, and managing the school budget. Gargano also held the position of Assistant Principal/Interim Principal at St. Mary of the Woods from July 2011 to June 2012, focusing on program development, standardized testing coordination, and student progress monitoring. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in School Administration/Principalship from Concordia University and a Bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education and Teaching from DePaul University.
