Anjalee Karunaratne

Anjalee Karunaratne is currently a Family Violence Court and Social Support Worker at Safe Steps Family Violence Response Centre, serving since March 2024. Prior to this role, Anjalee worked as a Custody Centre Welfare Program Officer at Vinnies Victoria, providing welfare assistance to individuals in custody from May 2022 to February 2024, and completed a supervised placement at the Office of Public Prosecutions in Victoria in mid-2023. Anjalee's earlier experience includes work as an Educator at TheirCare Pty Ltd, an Attorney At Law at The Supreme Court of Sri Lanka, and various roles at the Human Rights Commission of Sri Lanka. Anjalee holds a Master of Social Work from Monash University and a Bachelor of Laws from General Sir John Kotelawala Defence University.
