Since 1972, Safer Foundation’s mission has focused on supporting, through a full spectrum of services, the efforts of people with criminal records to become employed, law-abiding members of the community and as a result, reduce recidivism. Safer provides services throughout the state of Illinois and in Iowa. The Human Resources team at Safer Foundation focuses on recruiting, onboarding, and supporting employees. Recruitment Specialists identify and attract qualified candidates from our pool of clients with criminal records, while the Onboarding Coordinator ensures a smooth integration of new hires into the workplace.
