Anand Aithal

Anand Aithal is an experienced leader in finance and governance, currently serving as a Non-Executive Director at Saga plc. and Polar Capital, as well as an Independent Non-Executive on the Council Board of ACCA. Since February 2019, Anand has held the position of Lead Non-Executive Board Member at the Cabinet Office and also served as a Non-Executive Board Member. Anand's prior roles include Non-Executive Director at Envizage and BPL, alongside co-founding Amba Research. A significant tenure at Goldman Sachs spanned from 1989 to 2002, culminating in the role of Managing Director & Chief Strategist for Asian Equities, with earlier positions in Indian Equity Markets and Global Convertible Bond Research. Anand holds a Master of Arts in Economics from the University of Cambridge.
