Johannes Koopmans

Johannes (Bas) Koopmans is a skilled Mechanical Engineer with extensive experience in composite building and specialized roles in marine engineering. At Saildrone Inc, Johannes has served as Technical Lead and Prototype Specialist, as well as Composite Lead for the SD22 Surveyor build. Previous experience includes positions as a Composite Builder with Branagh Marine Composites and Artemis Racing, where Johannes also worked as part of the shore crew and completed an apprenticeship. Johannes completed educational studies at Laney College.
