Radu Ionescu

Radu Ionescu is an accomplished angel investor and strategic advisor with extensive experience across various startups and established companies. Since January 2015, Radu has invested in over 40 startups, providing both capital and strategic guidance. Radu currently serves as a Strategic Advisor for Sailo, a global platform for boat rentals, and for HIPSTO, which focuses on AI text technology. As the VP of Fundraising and Development at Climb Again, Radu promotes the development of life skills for children with special needs. Previously, Radu held key leadership roles such as Chief Operating Officer at Dentsu Aegis Network Romania and Managing Director for iProspect Romania and Kinecto. Radu began a career in journalism, eventually transitioning into digital project management. Educational background includes a Master’s degree in Business Administration and a Bachelor’s degree in Management from Academia de Studii Economice din București.
