Elena Yegorova

Elena Yegorova, PhD, is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in engineering and digital media. Currently serving as the Director of Engineering at Sainsbury's Digital, Tech and Data since August 2021, Elena has also held roles as Head of Engineering for Customer and Senior Engineering Manager. As the CTO and Co-founder of London Media Exchange, Elena is instrumental in developing innovative solutions to reduce fraud in digital advertising trading. Previous roles include Head of Engineering at Blis, where Elena managed various projects in location-based advertising, and Head of Delivery at Quickblox, focusing on back-end services for web and mobile applications. Elena’s early career includes positions as a Senior Business Analyst at Scorto Solutions and Senior Researcher at Kharkov National University of Radio Electronics, with a strong academic background featuring a PhD in Artificial Intelligence and an MPhil in Data Mining and Knowledge Discovery.
