Tanjina Riya

Tanjina Riya is an experienced professional in the textile and merchandising industry, currently serving as an Assistant Merchandiser for South Asia at Sainsbury's since October 2024. Prior to this role, Tanjina held a position as a Management Trainee at Marks and Spencer from December 2022 to October 2024, and contributed as a Content Writer for both Denim Focus and Textile Focus from late 2021 until October 2024. Tanjina has also engaged in various other roles, including Campus Ambassador for Interactive Cares and Skill Hunt, Youth Facilitator at Swap, and Vice President of the BUTEX Business Club. An internship at Fariha Group was briefly undertaken in early 2022, and Tanjina represented at the Youth Leadership Summit 2019 as a former delegate for Bangladesh Youth Leadership Center. Tanjina's educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Yarn Engineering from Bangladesh University of Textiles, along with an SSC from Viqarunnisa Noon School and an HSC from Viqarunnisa Noon College.
