Hans-Peter Birneder

Hans-Peter Birneder is an experienced technology executive currently serving as the Chief Digital and Information Officer at Saint-Gobain Switzerland since September 2021. With a solid background in IT leadership, Birneder has held the position of Head of IT and Organization at Sanitas Troesch since January 2014, and served as the interim CIO at BIELLA in late 2013, where responsibilities included redefining IT strategy and seeking a permanent CIO. Prior to these roles, Birneder was the CIO at Schaffner EMV AG for nearly nine years and the Head of Group IT at EMS Chemie. Birneder holds a Master of Computer Applications (MCA) degree from Fernuniversität Hagen.
