Sam Porter

Sam Porter, CPA, currently serves as the Manager of Financial Reporting at Saks since September 2024. Prior experience includes leadership roles at Harry's, Inc. from May 2021 to June 2024, where Sam held the positions of Manager and Senior Associate in Corporate Accounting and Financial Reporting. Previous tenure at EY spanned from January 2018 to May 2021, progressing from FSO Assurance Intern to FSO Assurance Senior. Early career experiences include internships at GS&F, Publicis, and The Terri & Sandy Solution. Sam earned a Master’s degree in Accountancy from Vanderbilt University - Owen Graduate School of Management in 2018 and a Bachelor of Science in Human and Organizational Development from Vanderbilt University in 2017. Education began at Summit High School, graduating in 2013.
