Clayton Boylan

Clayton Boylan is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in engineering and cloud solutions. Currently serving as Director at Salesforce since December 2021, Clayton previously held the position of Director of Engineering at Narrative Science, where responsibilities included overseeing engineering for a data storytelling product that integrated cloud infrastructure, machine learning, and natural language generation. Prior roles at Narrative Science also included Head of Cloud Engineering and Performance Architect, where Clayton led large-scale AWS projects and established performance engineering practices. Earlier in the career, Clayton managed teams at Avanade and held a Program Manager position at Microsoft, along with a Game Designer role at Vicarious Visions. Clayton holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Computer Science and a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Michigan State University.
