Shaunak Shatmanyu

Shaunak Shatmanyu is an experienced technical lead currently at Confluent, focusing on the development of a Globally Distributed gRPC Service, the Global Metastore, built on GCP SpannerDB. Previously, Shaunak served as a Senior Software Engineer at LinkedIn, where leadership in developing the Multidimensional Pacing Forecast significantly improved revenue and budget utilization for advertisers. Other notable positions include contributions at Amplitude in core infrastructure design, software engineering roles at Amazon and AppDynamics involving Alexa integration and data ingestion solutions respectively, and a tenure at Microsoft working on Windows Blue. Shaunak holds a Master’s Degree in Software Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University and a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science from Vellore Institute of Technology.
