Alberto Antunes

Alberto Antunes is an experienced professional in the aquaculture industry, currently serving as a Røkter Ventemær at SalMar since June 2023, where responsibilities include overseeing operations of waiting cages to ensure the well-being of aquatic stock. Previously, Alberto held positions at SalMar as a Dyptrekker Operatør and Production Worker, contributing to the production of high-quality seafood products. Alberto's background includes customer service experience gained as an IKEA Food Co-worker and various roles in the hospitality industry, including waiter positions. Additionally, Alberto completed an internship in aquaculture at Alltech Coppens, gaining hands-on experience in production processes. Alberto holds a Master’s degree in Biological Aquatic Resources from Faculdade de Ciências da Universidade do Porto and a Bachelor’s degree in Biology from Universidade de Aveiro.
