Troy Melendez

Troy Melendez, Ph.D., is a Clinical Psychologist currently serving the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community since May 2024, and holds the position of Senior Behavioral Health Counselor at Journey To Recovery since June 2022, where responsibilities include managing the Partial Hospitalization Program and facilitating recovery services. Past roles include counseling for the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community and an extensive career at Arizona State University, where significant contributions were made as Director of Assessment and Research and other leadership roles in student support services. Troy Melendez has also worked at Northern Illinois University, initially as a Clinical Psychologist and later as Director of Commuter and Non-Traditional Student Services, and has experience providing counseling and workshops through Arizona Psychology Services. Educational background includes a Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from Arizona State University.
