Hendrik-Jan van Arenthals

Hendrik-Jan van Arenthals serves as the Voorzitter College van Bestuur at Scalda since March 2015, leading the largest MBO institution in Zeeland. In addition, Hendrik-Jan is an active member of various organizations, including the Economic Board Zeeland and the Zeeuws Bestuurdersoverleg Onderwijs, enhancing collaboration within the region's educational landscape. As the Voorzitter sectorkamer Zorg, Welzijn en Sport for the Samenwerkingsorganisatie Beroepsonderwijs Bedrijfsleven, Hendrik-Jan plays a key role in the national discussions on vocational education. Hendrik-Jan’s educational background includes a Master in Educational Leadership from the Centrum voor Nascholing Amsterdam and a teaching qualification in Dutch from Windesheim. Other contributions include being an ambassador for the Stichting Meer muziek in de klas and serving on several educational and advisory boards.
