Nihar Desai

Nihar Desai is a seasoned technical program manager with extensive experience in engineering leadership and digital product development. Currently part of the Engineering Leadership Team at Samsara since August 2022, Nihar previously served as Principal Technical Program Manager at Convoy Inc. from December 2019 to August 2022, where significant contributions included establishing best practices for incident management and developing procurement processes. Nihar's earlier roles at Amazon spanned from April 2013 to November 2019, focusing on delivering custom security solutions for AWS and leading initiatives for various digital products. Prior experience includes software development and testing at Microsoft, Marvell, and Intel, supported by a Master’s degree in Computer Engineering from Syracuse University and a Bachelor's in Electronics Engineering from the University of Mumbai.
