Annie Blanks

Annie Blanks is a seasoned reporter with experience spanning several prominent publications, including the San Antonio Express-News since August 2021, the Pensacola News Journal from October 2018 to August 2021, and the Northwest Florida Daily News from June 2016 to October 2018. Blanks began a journalism career as a general assignment reporter and previously gained valuable skills as a legal intern at the Tennessee Department of Children's Services. An alumna of Sewanee: The University of the South, Blanks graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in English and a minor in Women's and Gender Studies, while actively participating in campus life and founding an online magazine.
