Michael Minjares

Michael Minjares serves as the Director of Grants Management at Jacobs & Cushman San Diego Food Bank since August 2022, after a tenure as Senior Grant Writer with Chula Vista Elementary School District from February 2018 to September 2022. Prior experience includes roles as Development Grant Writer and Grants Manager at Jacobs & Cushman San Diego Food Bank and Sweetwater Union High School District, respectively. Michael's background also features a position as Managing Editor at Fountain Media Group and various roles at San Diego State University, including Annual Fund Officer and Coordinator of New Student Programs. Academically, Michael holds a Master's degree in Communication and a Bachelor's degree in Journalism, both from San Diego State University, complemented by an education from Hilltop High School.
