Cody Petterson

Cody Petterson is an accomplished academic and community leader with extensive experience in educational and environmental organizations. Currently serving as Trustee for Subdistrict C at San Diego Unified School District and as a Lecturer at UC San Diego, Cody also contributes to environmental efforts as a Governing Board Member of the San Diego River Conservancy and as a Board Member for the Volcan Mountain Foundation. Additionally, Cody plays a significant role in local governance as a Trustee for the La Jolla Town Council Inc. Academically, Cody holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Anthropology from UC San Diego and a Master of Fine Arts (M.F.A.) in Creative Writing from the University of Iowa.
