Jackie Bachteler

Jackie Bachteler is an experienced soccer coach currently serving as the First Assistant Coach at San Diego Wave Fútbol Club since February 2023. Prior to this role, Jackie was the Sporting Director at BP Fotboll from January 2021 to January 2023, overseeing the Girls section and Academy, focusing on coach and player development, club operations, and recruitment. A history of coaching roles includes Head Coach at Sollentuna FK, Assistant Coach for the Women’s team at Hammarby Fotboll AB, and Head Coach at Aiya Napa FC Famagusta and Sunnanå SK. Jackie also had a brief internship with FC Barcelona's women's team and participated in a masterclass with Vero Boquete. Jackie holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Movement and Performance, Physical Education, and Sociology from Florida Southern College, attained between 2007 and 2011.
