Commercial Zero Waste Coordinator at San Francisco Environment Department

Steven Chiv is a seasoned professional in waste management and sustainability, currently serving as the Commercial Zero Waste Coordinator at the San Francisco Department of the Environment since January 2009. In this role, Steven has developed innovative waste reduction policies, including the Mandatory Recycling and Composting Ordinance and bans on plastic bags and Styrofoam.
