Vicky L.

Vicky L. is an experienced librarian currently serving as a Children’s Librarian at the San Francisco Public Library since October 2024. Prior to this, Vicky held positions at Alameda Free Library as a Library Specialist I and at San Mateo County Libraries, where responsibilities included facilitating learning for underserved 3rd-grade students and providing reference assistance. Vicky has also extensive experience in fundraising operations as the Database and Campaign Operations Manager for the Friends of the San Francisco Public Library, overseeing essential technology platforms and coordinating community events. Additional roles include serving in various capacities at The Bookmark Bookstore and Marufuku Japanese Restaurant, coupled with a strong educational background culminating in a Master’s degree in Library and Information Science from San Jose State University.
