Christopher Barnett

Christopher Barnett is an experienced data science professional currently serving as the Programme Lead at Sand Technologies since February 2024. Prior to this role, Christopher held leadership positions at ExploreAI, including Head of Full-time Delivery and Head Teacher, from January 2022 to February 2024. Christopher's academic career at the University of Cape Town spanned a decade, with roles as Lecturer and Research Officer from August 2017 to December 2021, and as a Research Officer and Scientific Officer in earlier years. Christopher completed a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Chemistry at the University of Cape Town, alongside a Master's degree and a Bachelor of Science (BSc) with Honours in Chemistry.
