Venky Ganesan

Venky Ganesan, PE MBA, is a seasoned professional in civil engineering with extensive experience in transportation engineering and project management. Currently serving as Principal Engineer at the San Diego Association of Governments (SANDAG) since November 2012, Ganesan has contributed to the organization in various capacities including Senior Transportation Engineer and Associate Engineer. Prior experience includes serving as Highway Project Engineer at HDR and Project Estimator/Manager at Tri Mor Corporation. Ganesan began a career in academia as a Research Assistant at Penn State University. Educational credentials include an MBA in Finance from Cal State Fullerton, an MS in Civil Engineering from Penn State University, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering from the University of Madras.
