Niranjan Bhujel

Niranjan Bhujel is currently serving as a Research Intern at Sandia National Laboratories since August 2023. Previously, Bhujel worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Maine from August 2022 to July 2023 and contributed to projects involving neural network-based state estimation and reinforcement learning for power system applications. Prior experience includes a role as a Graduate Research Assistant at South Dakota State University, focusing on techniques for voltage dynamics estimation and model predictive control for microgrids, among other collaborations in power system dynamics. Bhujel's professional journey in electrical engineering began with an Electrical Engineer position at Innovative Ghar Nepal. Bhujel holds a PhD in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from both South Dakota State University and the University of Maine, complemented by a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Tribhuvan University.
