Leif Aarthun Ims

Leif Aarthun Ims currently serves as the SVP of City Development and Infrastructure for Sandnes kommune, overseeing city development, strategic planning, and the management of various public infrastructure projects. Prior to this role, Leif held multiple positions at IBM, including Associate Partner and Senior Managing Consultant, focusing on business opportunities and project delivery in the oil and gas sector. Leif has also served as CEO and Chief Product Officer at Altibox AS, where responsibilities included company management and product portfolio development. Additionally, Leif has held various board member and chairman roles in several communications companies. Leif holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Heriot-Watt University and has further education from INSEAD, BI, and London School of Economics.
