Uroš Markoja

Uroš Markoja is a skilled project manager and scientist with extensive experience in pharmaceutical development and business strategy, currently serving as Project Manager of Business Development & Alliance Management at Sandoz since May 2021. Responsibilities include collaboration with strategic partners to enhance product market entry, management of cross-functional teams, and optimization of global product pipelines. Previously, Uroš held roles such as Project Lead Scientist and Deputy Team Lead in Pharmaceutical Development at Sandoz, where technical product development and leadership of cross-disciplinary teams were key focus areas. Uroš started in the pharmaceutical field as a formulation scientist, progressing through various roles in research and patent law, and holds two master's degrees in Pharmacy and Physics from the University of Ljubljana, complemented by an Erasmus exchange program in Pharmacy at the University of Tübingen.
