Samer Khalaf

Samer Khalaf is an accomplished mortgage banking professional with extensive experience in the financial services industry. Currently serving as Vice President and Senior Mortgage Banker at Sandy Spring Bank since March 2023, Samer previously held similar roles at EagleBank from December 2016 to March 2023 and Congressional Bank from June 2011 to December 2016. Samer's career began at Colombo Bank, where contributions included roles as Mortgage Operations Manager and Senior Mortgage Banker from October 2005 to January 2011, and continued at New America Financial as Assistant Sales Director and Senior Loan Officer from February 2002 to September 2005. Samer holds a B.A. in Economics from the University of Maryland, earned between 1998 and 2001.
