Mitch Nambu

Mitch Nambu is a highly experienced scientist with a robust background in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries. Currently serving as a Senior Scientist at Sanford Burnham Prebys Medical Discovery Institute since April 2021, Mitch has held key roles at various organizations including 1859 Inc and Okami Therapeutics, where Mitch was a Co-Founder. Prior to this, Mitch contributed as a Senior Scientist at Amplyx Pharmaceuticals, Inc and held positions as a contract scientist at Ambit Biosciences and a Senior Principal Scientist at Pfizer Global PR&D. Mitch's academic credentials include a B.S. in chemistry from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, a Ph.D. in chemistry from UC San Diego, and advanced studies at the University of California, Berkeley and Oregon State University.
