Mayara Baccan

Mayara Baccan has over a decade of experience in regulatory affairs and digital transformation within the healthcare sector, currently serving as the Head of Digital Organizational Capability & Transformation at Sanofi since March 2013. Baccan's roles have included leading digital transformation strategies and overseeing global regulatory affairs for nutritionals and eCommerce in consumer healthcare. Previous positions at Sanofi involved extensive collaboration across LATAM regulatory processes, providing regulatory expertise, and coordinating product registration. Earlier experience includes roles at Sandoz and CSL Behring, as well as a research internship focused on chelation therapy at the Laboratory of Environmental Bioinorganic Chemistry and Metallopharmaceuticals at USP. Baccan holds a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from USP, along with several specializations in organizational design and futures thinking, further enhancing expertise in project management and digital transformation.
