My-Ngoc Nguyen

My-Ngoc "Menop" Nguyen is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in cybersecurity and information systems management. Currently serving as Principal Instructor and Certified Instructor at the SANS Institute since July 2012, My-Ngoc also holds dual positions as Chief Executive Officer at Secured IT Solutions and Advance and Accelerate since 2010 and 2014, respectively. Previous roles include Executive Vice President at Link Technologies, responsible for managing security practices and IT government contracts, and Director/Cyber Security Program Manager at SMSI, where efforts were focused on cybersecurity support for the Los Alamos National Laboratory. My-Ngoc’s earlier experience includes managing the cybersecurity program for the Department of Energy's Yucca Mountain Project at Bechtel SAIC. An academic background in Management Information Systems includes a Master of Science degree from UNLV Lee Business School.
