Yuri O.

Yuri O. has extensive experience in various roles, currently serving as a Membership Assistant at the Santa Barbara Museum of Natural History and Sea Center since January 2024. Previously, Yuri was a Human Resources and Accounts Payable Specialist at ByWater Solutions, which specializes in open-source library software, and worked as a Research Assistant at the Santa Barbara Mission Archive-Library. In a role as Parade Coordinator for Old Spanish Days, Yuri managed communications and coordination for Fiesta events. Additional experience includes Building Operations at UCSB Library, supporting digitization projects at UCSB Special Research Collections, and providing notetaking services for the UCSB Disabled Students Program. Yuri also engaged in marketing and outreach as a Student Leader for Worldhealer, Inc. and completed a Human Resources internship at Rosewood Yangon. Yuri holds a Bachelor's degree in International/Global Studies from UC Santa Barbara, following a high school diploma from the International School of Myanmar.
