Whitney Roemer

Whitney Roemer has extensive experience in education and animal care, currently serving as the Education Supervisor at Santa Barbara Zoo since January 2020, where responsibilities include managing educational programs and curating gallery displays. Whitney also owns Wee Bee Studios, a business that specializes in soy candles and stained glass. Previous roles include Assistant Zookeeper at Chehaw Wild Animal Park and Outdoor Instructor at Pali Institute. Whitney has held marketing and advertising positions, including Director of Marketing at The Oakland Post, and has also worked as a Lab Assistant and in hospitality roles. Whitney earned a Bachelor’s degree in Integrative Studies with a focus on Wildlife Biology and World Media from Oakland University.
