Joaquim J. Mendes

Joaquim J. Mendes is a seasoned professional in fraud management and technical solutions, currently serving as the Head of External Fraud Management at Santander Portugal since August 2019. Prior to this role, Joaquim worked as a fraud analyst and technical specialist at Ciberdefesa within Banco Santander Portugal, where expertise in fraud analysis and solution implementation was developed. Joaquim's earlier experience includes a significant tenure at Infosistema, progressing from developer roles to Project Manager overseeing multiple Java-based projects, as well as consulting in application security and malware analysis. Joaquim holds a Bachelor of Science in Management from Escola Superior de Tecnologia e Gestão and has completed additional training in information security-related fields.
