Renato Matias da Silva

Renato Matias da Silva is an experienced professional in analytics and data management, currently serving as the Head of Analytics and Models at Santander Portugal since April 2019. Previously, Renato held the position of Head of Advanced Analytics at Altice Portugal for a brief period in late 2018, and prior to that, acted as Advanced Analytics Management at Portugal Telecom from July 2012 to November 2018. Renato's career in analytics began at Portugal Telecom, where roles included Gestão de Churn, Geo-Marketing Management, Database Marketing Management, and CRM Analyst, alongside starting as a Trainee. Renato's analytical expertise is supported by a Doctor of Philosophy in Computer and Information Systems Security/Information Assurance from Instituto Superior Técnico, completed between 2008 and 2010, and a Licenciatura in Matemática Aplicada e Computação from the same institution from 2000 to 2005.
