Kenton Jernigan

Kenton Jernigan is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in loan sales and private debt placement. Currently serving as Managing Director at Santander US since April 2023, Kenton leads US loan sales. Previous roles include Managing Director at Guggenheim Partners, focusing on private debt placement and sourcing of distressed assets from March 2021 to August 2022, and sales of leveraged loans and HY bonds at StoneX Group Inc. between August 2019 and December 2020. Kenton held the title of Managing Director and Head of International Credit Sales at Jefferies from 2007 to February 2018. Before entering the financial sector, Kenton was a touring professional squash player, ranking as the #1 World Doubles Team in 1991, 1993, 1994, and 1995. Kenton earned a BA in computer science and economics from Harvard University.
