Marco Cardenas Silva

Marco Cardenas Silva has extensive experience in the rail transport sector, particularly with Metro de Santiago S.A. Since May 2017, Marco has served as the Maintenance Implementation Manager, focusing on predictive maintenance and the integration of big data and IoT for new subway lines. Prior to this, from 2015 to March 2017, Marco was the CBTC L1 and Laboratory Manager, leading maintenance for automatic train operations and overseeing nondestructive testing teams. Earlier experience at Alstom Transport from 2005 to 2015 included multiple leadership roles in test and commissioning for various projects, including significant work on CBTC systems and extensions of Metro de Santiago lines. Marco holds a degree in Sciences of Engineering, specializing in Electronics and Economy from Universidad Mayor.
