Kelly Carlton

Kelly Carlton is an accomplished professional in motion media design, currently serving as Chair and Professor at Savannah College of Art and Design since October 2016. Previous leadership roles include Academic Chair at SCAD Lacoste and Chair of CMPA. Kelly has held prominent positions such as Creative Director at AV Squad and Trailer Park, and Vice President, Creative Director at DevaStudios, specializing in motion graphics for film and television. An educator at institutions like Elon University and Otis College of Art and Design, Kelly has also contributed to notable film projects, providing design and VFX expertise for titles such as "Donnie Darko" and "Southland Tales." Educational credentials include an MFA in Electronic Media from the University of Cincinnati and a BA in Fine Art from Georgetown College.
