Mark Lasoff is a highly experienced professional in the visual effects industry, currently serving as a Professor of Visual Effects at Savannah College of Art and Design since August 2023. Prior to this, Mark worked as a VFX Supervisor at The Walt Disney Studios for the ABC series "Big Sky" from June 2020 to August 2023. Mark's extensive background includes roles as a Senior Nuke Compositor at multiple companies, including REFUGE VFX LLC and Crafty Apes, where contributions were made to notable projects such as "Cry Macho" and "Cleaning Lady." Mark has also held positions at Warner Bros. Entertainment and Kaisa International Resort, demonstrating a strong track record in both supervision and compositing tasks across various film and television productions. Educationally, Mark holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Maryland and dual Bachelor’s degrees in Computer Science and Electrical Engineering from the University of Delaware, further complemented by a Film Production Workshop at the University of Southern California.
