Director Of Land Protection at Save the Redwoods League

Jeff Stump is a seasoned conservation professional currently serving as the Land Protection Manager for Save the Redwoods League since January 2022, focusing on the protection and restoration of California redwoods. Previously, Stump held various leadership roles at the Marin Agricultural Land Trust (MALT) from September 2006 to February 2020, including Director of Conservation and Easement Program Director, where significant achievements included the protection of over 54,000 acres of land and the implementation of a nationally recognized agricultural land conservation program. Additionally, Stump contributed to the Marin Carbon Project as a Steering Committee Member, driving innovations in land stewardship and climate policy. Earlier experience includes positions at the American Land Conservancy and the California Coastal Commission, enhancing expertise in land transactions and regulatory processes. Stump holds a B.S. in Environmental Policy Analysis and Planning from the University of California, Davis.
